A national distributor of analytical instrumentation needed several insertion fittings to complete their sensor portfolio. Sparkworks produced 3D models and fabrication drawings for four models.
One of the models featured a new seal design that required proof-of-concept testing. Sparkworks designed and fabricated a test fixture, produced test samples, ran the tests, and produced a detailed report.
This same design featured a new handle concept. Sparkworks designed and produced 3D printed prototypes for client evaluation.
An Industrial IoT company was experimenting with modular I/O for their field endpoint. They needed an encapsulation housing to fit their chosen connector. Sparkworks produced a 3D model, 2D fabrication drawing and 10 machined prototypes.
A manufacturer’s representative was asked to supply a 3D STEP file for his manufacturer’s product – his customer needed to insert the product into their 3D models. The manufacturer did not have the file and did not want to produce one. The rep provided a sample and 2D drawings of the major components. Sparkworks created a detailed 3D model and exported it to STEP format.
A wireless sensor company needed written instructions for their system. The client supplied a handful of sensors and their communication hardware. Sparkworks installed the client’s communication and visualization software, learned setup and troubleshooting by doing (and asking lots of questions), and created a 37-page user guide and 4-page quick-start guide.
